Did you know that most drownings occur at non-swim times? ⠀
⠀
It's not often happening when we are watching them closely at the pool. It's happening when we have shut pool time down and brought everyone inside … only for a little one to get back out to the water undetected. And this can happen year round, not just in the summertime. ⠀
⠀
This is why we give every student the opportunity to practice their skills in their clothes. This is not a test of any kind, rather the chance to experience the water in their everyday attire with an ISR Instructor.⠀
⠀
So what does this mean for your child? It means normal everyday clothes, a diaper, shoes, jackets, or hats. These are things that are not part of the normal swim lesson experience, but can make water challenging to navigate if the child meets water unexpectedly.⠀
⠀
The kids think it’s silly to swim in their clothes, we think it’s silly to not be prepared. ⠀
