We just ️ getting such incredible feedback from our parents … “Cheri is amazing! She is so good with all the kids. She tailors each session to each child’s comfort, abilities, and overall needs. I felt completely comfortable and trusted her from the moment I met her. Watching her with my son, who would not even get his face wet during his first lesson to watching him jump in a pool completely clothed within 5 weeks makes me believe that she can teach any child to swim. She truly is incredible!” — Kristina D. #isrlexington #infantswim #babies2021 #expecting #watersafety #lexmomsky #lexmoms #cherislay

Thanks to the @thesylasproject for sharing their thoughts about hearing your baby cry while learning swim …⠀ ⠀ “Accidents happen to the most amazing parents. As soon as baby is mobile, they become high risk for accidental drowning if the right barriers and preventative measures aren’t in place. ⠀ ⠀ There is nothing in the world I would want more than to hear Sylas again. Hear him laugh and play. I promise you, crying is not the worst thing to happen. Not hearing them cry ever again is even harder. ⠀ ⠀ Stay positive during their lessons and be their cheerleader. They are looking at you for encouragement. 🤗 Eventually they will be confident enough to enjoy it and develop a respect for the water.”⠀ ⠀ To learn more about @thesylasproject and their incredible mission be sure to click on their link.

We are often asked “when is the ideal age to start my child in lessons”? ⠀ ⠀ We believe … the sooner, the safer. ⠀ ⠀ Many families will “second guess” enrolling an infant because their baby doesn’t do much (yet!) and it’s hard to imagine them ever making it to water by themselves. Some Another families opt to wait to do lessons because they do not have a pool at home.⠀ ⠀ But sadly, we know of many very loved, watched-like-a-hawk little ones who used their new walking skills or lightning fast toddler ways to quickly and quietly get to the water alone. ⠀ ⠀ Unfortunately, instances often happen at “non-swim” times when supervising the water is not top of mind. They also more frequently happen when the family is out of their element vs at home with their normal routine — think a night at a relatives, a playdate at a house with an unfenced pool, or in a vacation rental.⠀ ⠀ Therefore, once your little one is 6 months and sitting independently is when ISR lessons should start. ⠀ ⠀ Visit our website today to learn more and register.⠀ ⠀ #isrlexington #infantswim #babies2021 #expecting #watersafety #lexmomsky #lexmoms #cherislay
